Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

1. Who we are

Nurra helps parents keep baby care notes and planning information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Account data

When you create an account or sign in with Google, we process your email address, optional name, and secure authentication tokens so you can sign in. This is strictly required to provide the service and secure your account.

3. Baby care data

Daily care notes, feeds, nappies, weight, temperature, health checkmarks, and baby profile details are health-related personal data. By default, they stay locally on your device or browser. They are transmitted to Nurra servers only if you explicitly choose to turn on cloud sync.

4. Cloud sync (optional)

If you enable sync, we store an encrypted copy of your Nurra baby data so you can recover it and access it across multiple devices. Sync remains disabled until you give explicit consent. You can turn sync off at any time and request that the cloud copy be erased.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access and export your data, correct any information in the app, withdraw sync consent, and permanently delete your account. Deleting your account automatically purges all cloud data held on our servers.

6. Retention and security

Account records are maintained only as long as your account exists. Cloud baby data is stored while sync is active or until you delete it. We enforce SSL/TLS encryption in transit, strict password hashing, and token authentication. Nurra is a general support tool and does not provide clinical or medical advice.

7. Contact
